Our housing support program is truly unique.
Homelessness can happen to anyone at nearly any time. Women with children are particularly vulnerable to becoming homeless after job loss, changes in family structure, major illness, or other life difficulties. These women often find themselves without a comfortable and safe place to call home, and they may not know what else to do during a time like this.
At Hope House Foundation, we support women who are experiencing situational homelessness by providing them with a place to live. Our housing support program serves women here in the Lake Norman, North Carolina area, and we have helped many women find a way forward after experiencing major difficulty in their lives.
While the core of our housing support program involves providing housing, we do so much more. We provide a community of compassion and support that helps these women learn how to help themselves. In addition to housing, we offer community resources, job hunting support, educational support, and other resources that help these women improve their lives. Ultimately, we encourage the women we serve to make transformative life choices, and we help women from all age groups, backgrounds, and walks of life.
