Our housing support program helps women to move forward with hope.
At Hope House Foundation, our mission is to be a catalyst for social change in Charlotte, North Carolina by combatting rising homelessness. There are women in our community who face situational homelessness due to job loss, illness, major life changes, or other events outside their control, and they need a safe, comfortable place to call home for up to six months. We offer just that through our transitional housing meant for single unaccompanied women and women with children (boys up to age 8 only).
We offer much more than just a place for women in need to rest their heads for the night and keep their children safe; we offer a comprehensive housing support program that helps these women to get back on their feet. We often say our program is “a hand-up, not a hand-out.” By providing coaching, job skills training, affordable housing placement, and other services, we help women in need to take their next steps with independence and confidence backed by community support.
We have helped many women from all different backgrounds, age groups, and walks of life transform their lives through our housing support program, a program that would not be possible without our generous donors and volunteers. If you would like to make a difference in the community, we hope you will consider making a donation or offering your time and talents.
