There are many ways to give back to your community, and one is to donate to women’s shelter. Our transitional housing is not a women’s shelter, exactly—it offers women more than just a place to live as they navigate a new chapter of their lives.
At Hope House Foundation, we are dedicated to helping single unaccompanied women and women with children who are experiencing situational homelessness in Charlotte, North Carolina. If a woman has become displaced from her home because of a job loss, illness, or a major life change, she needs a safe and pleasant place to stay until she can get back on her feet again. We offer transitional housing for women in situations like these.
Beyond just offering a place to live for a time, we also offer a housing support program through which the women staying at Hope House can receive coaching, job skills, training, affordable housing placement, and other services.
All the work we do is made possible by generous donors. Without them, many women would not receive the temporary help they need.
